Congratulations to Victor Börlin for his 13th position in the IFCA production boardsEuropeans 2019 in Cold hawaii klitmöller.
In Klimöller from 17th to 21st of September, with spectacular conditions for windsurfing waves. Competition with a double elimination took place. Victor Börlin, 21 years old, competed in the first heat of the single against Benjamin Karsch in onshore conditions with 3.4m^2 Loftsail (Purelip) and 84L F2 Barracuda. The conditions during double elimination on the second day against the Local Rider Mads Bjorna, 5.7m^2 Loftsails (Purelip) y 84L F2 Barracuda, were pleasant, with good waves in light wind. My sensations of the first day were good, because I am used to sail with my small sails of 3.4m^2 and 3.7m^2 in my training spot in Gran Canaria! I felt very good, because there were onshore conditions, with waves not too big but easy to ride. The second day the wind was light and I had to use my 5.7m^2 sail. The wind was gusty in some parts, but I was able to keep myself in the right place pretty well. The second day I went up against the local rider. For him, it was easy to find and ride the waves. In any case, I have been training a little for the upcoming competition which will be in Sylt this month. This has been a productive experience and I have been able to share it with my teammate Mar de Arce and with my training team from Cutre Windsurfing. I want to thank my sponsors for giving me this opportunity to compete in places I am usually not training. "This has been a wonderfull event and I would love to visit and participate again!"
